We would like to invite you to the seminar: "ENVIRONMENTAL LAW - (new) possibilities of legal protection of the environment as a result of EU membership," which will be held on 20 and 21 February 2014. in the premises of Green Action, Frankopanska 1, Zagreb.

We have received, within due deadline, 44 applications from 6 countries, and 10 proposals from 6 different countries have been selected for funding. We are looking forward to work together with these grantees to support them in achieving our common goal – better quality of environment in the Western Balkans.

Today (May 03rd 2013) representatives of Greenpeace, Zelena Akcija and Zelena Istra have held a press conference where Greenpeace’s case study on hidden costs of planned coal-fired power plant Plomin C was presented.

Regional seminar on harmful energy projects held at Solta Island
On Monday, July 8th a seminar on harmful energy projects in the region started at the Green Action Solar Academy at Vela Straza, island of Solta. Solar Academy is a long-term project in which Green Action, through volunteer camps, fixes up a regional training center for environmental protection in the former barracks provided for use by the Croatian Government.
