Zelena akcija has been actively working on improving waste management in Zagreb for more than 20 years, and together with the association "Right to the City" launched the campaign "Zagreb - the European capital of trash" in 2015.
KAMPANJA
The goal of the campaign "Kontra LNG" (against LNG) is to stop the realisation of the LNG terminal project on the island of Krk - including the floating and onshore terminal - as well as all the new supporting infrastructure in Croatia. This project is not only harmful to the environment, climate, tourism, etc., it is economically unprofitable and unsustainable.
KAMPANJA
Friends of the Earth Croatia initiated a campaign in March 2018 to prevent the destruction of greenery on a very symbolic square in the centre of Croatia's capital Zagreb. Together with local citizen initiatives and organisation, they formed a new initiative named „Bring the magnolia back“.
